Macgregor, won the first qualifier in the new RYA Olympic Classes Women’s Match
Racing Qualifying Series at Queen Mary SC at the weekend. Mary Rook,
with Nicky Macgregor and Alice Rook, was 2nd. But then we are sure the next
team were guys when we last checked….but not 420 sailors maybe….who just pulled
ahead of our Charlotte Lawrence, with Bethan Carden and Jo Brigg. Nine
of our former leading 420 sailors are shaping up at the beginning of the long
campaign for London 2012.
