Rileys lead 420 outing at Lymington for windy Harken Youth Open

The Royal Lymington YCs Harken Youth Open was held this weekend in spite of the threatened effects of that Hurricane from across the Atlantic. In spite of predictions the 420s got in a fourth race on Sunday morning. Tim & Ed Riley scored three bullets to win the event, and Tarra Gill-Taylor & James Dodd were right behind them on each of the Saturday races. Anna Greenwell & Kirstie Urwin took third overall, one of only two boats to complete the fourth race, on Sunday. Caroline Croft & Chris Taylor won the Sunday race, after some hiccups on Saturday afternoon, but were followed by several teams with just a point between each.

The large (25-boat) Cadet fleet had a busy Saturday. The clear winning team was helmed by our man, Rhos Hawes, while Arron Holman was 9th.
