Holman leads Fevas at West Zone Champs

Arran Holman – the guy who got a stiff neck at the Nationals communicating with his crew (Hugh Brayshaw) – won the Feva Fleet at the Zone Championships at Blithfield.

Meanwhile, Rosie Watkins, with her sister Helena, last seen organising things in the boat park at the Inlands, was 2nd in the Mirror Fleet at the South Champs at WPNSA. Apparently they had a bit of a serious capsize on the second day when Helena became tangled in the rigging, so the rest of the racing was strictly conservative!

But it looks as though the winning helm, Joanna, comes from that Kalderon dynasty, so maybe we shall be seeing her in the Fleet soon too. Another one to watch is evidently Milo Gill Taylor, who won the Optimists at WPNSA.
