Dibb & Cox and Morsley & Wallis lead 420 dozen at Tiger – Pursuit to go

After Chris Taylor & Caroline Croft led four 420s to last year’s Tiger Trophy to take 2nd of 48 boats to be the Junior Tiger Champions 2011, the Fleet is back in force this year – threats of snow (realised!) notwithstanding. On Saturday night (after 3 races), Craig & Charlie and Toby & Matt were lying in 6th and 7th, leading over a dozen 420s among the 139 boats on the water. Tarra Gill-Taylor & Megan Brickwood were in 18th.

Ten more 420s spotted: Caroline Croft & Henriette Brand, Tim & Ed Riley, Sarah & Catherine Alton, Matt Foskett & Chris Taylor, Will Kennedy & Alex Curtis, Morgan Dibb & Gemma Bird, Ben Hazeldine & Rhos Hawes, Annabel Cattermole & Bryony Bennett-Lloyd, Lucy Yates & Ellie Devereux and John Page & Max Ingall. Possibly the lack of Poole boats may be because of reports on the national news that the harbour is frozen over and ducks taking skating lessons.
