Anyone looking for a sailor?....to sail a 420 with! 

Changes in 420 partnerships can occur from time to time and, at any time; both aspiring and more experienced sailors can be on the look out for someone to sail with.

Some want a helm or crew for a particular event, some are looking for someone to do the Youths, or the Selectors, or maybe to do a Class Training event with. Everyone is different.

Sometimes sailors advertise on the “Partnerships” section of the Small Ads; some prefer to "ask around", but may not be sure who to ask!

In 2009, a new initiative was taken to organise some special training for new 420 sailors when some sailors were able to pair up at the event. The Training Officer, Andy Foskett has offered to try and make similar arrangements for the Summer Training Camp at Grafham Water WC from 27 to 31 July.

Carla Stanley and Tony Mapplebeck try to keep in touch about who is around, who is looking and who is “coming” in to the Class, maybe still campaigning in their Junior Class, but wanting to plan a transition.
