The crème de la crème – 420 sailors – are off to Plymouth
for the BUCS/BUSA Student Fleet Racing Championships
We have
found no less than 35 of our guys – several from within living memory! click
above – who will be racing (etc.) out of Mount
Batten, Plymouth this weekend, aiming to win essential “BUCS points” for
their University Sailing Clubs/Athletics Unions and variously sailing in the
Handicap, RS Handicap and Firefly, as well as Laser, fleets.
We have to especially
mention Nia Jones, with our veteran,
Sophie Knight, representing Exeter
and, another faithful, golden oldie, James
Thomas of Brunel who will actually be sailing their 420s!! (btw thanks, as always, to Emyr from the Tongwynlais/Cardiff Bay
support team for answering the summons!).
