Due to
popular demand the Youth Match Racing Qualifier dates have been changed to the
following dates:
24th/25th
June �� Qualifier 1 �Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy
12th/13th
August �� Qualifier 2 �Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy
26th/27th/28th
August � �Finals � Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy
Teams
need to attend one of the qualifiers to be invited to the Finals. The
winner and runner up from the Finals will be invited to attend the RYA National
Match Racing Finals on the 6ht/7th/8th October where they
will get the chance to compete against the best match racers in the UK.
The Winner of the Youth Match Racing Championships will also have the chance to
represent Team GBR at the World Youth Match Racing Championships in Australia
in 2007.
All crew
members need to be under 20 on the 28th February 2007 (i.e you must
still be 19 on the 28th Feb 2007). The weight limit is 350kgs
(5 sailors at around 70kgs or 6 at around 58kgs).
